Repairing a multi-meter
We can repair a multi meter or a digital multi-meter as well. To do this set it to measure resistance. Then touch the probe leads together. And the Digital Multi-meter to Troubleshoot and to Repair it. And If the multi-meter is still not working I think it may be time to change it .test if a multimeter is working not
To do this Set the multimeter to the lowest setting for resistance such as (“ohms” or an “Ω” ) to low. Then touch red probe to the black probe in the multi-meter. then check and make sure that it reads “0,” and when it is happen it is called resistance between the two probes.
Method to Calibrate a Digital Multimeter.
To to this we have to set the multimeter to highest resistance and the range to the highest “ohm”.
To check then touch the test probes of your digital multimeter together.
At last Press calibration knob until it show the initial point to “0” on the digital multimeter.
Why a multimeter read 1
If we see that multimeter reads is 1 and it displays OL, it means that its overloaded. We have to try a higher mode like 200kΩ mode or 2MΩ (megaohm) mode. it means that the range of the knob is needed to be adjusted. And secondly if we see that the multimeter reads 0.00 or nearly zero, then we have to make the lower ofthe mode to 2kΩ or 200Ω.
